About Me

Hi, my name is Nicky Shorter and I work from my home in Norfolk.

At first I started making cakes for friends and family, but really enjoyed the variety/diversity that came in creating cake toppers, and as you can see from my gallery I like a challenge.

I realised that there was a demand in personalised cake toppers when I started getting requests, this is when I decided to start my website business, this also allows me to work around my two children.

After using sugar paste on cakes, I wanted a medium that could be kept as a keepsake.  I looked into different products and stumbled upon polymer clay.  I have been working with this for a couple of years and is a great product to work with and when baked can be kept for a long time.
